Manny Ramirez loses a home run after rounding the bases, a breakdown

when Manny Ramirez is up. El Duk is

pitching. The Glory Years, my childhood

basically on display. This one's brought

to take that up and in pitch and send

it.

And he says, "Okay, home run." And I

think they called it a home run. El Duk

said, "FOUL. FOUL. FOUL. WHEN FOUL. WHAT

ARE YOU talking about?" Joe Tori is

going to run out there. You know, all

arms and shoulders. Manny's rounding the

bases. He's celebrating. The umps are

running around. He's got himself a home

run. Now, the umps all get together at

third base. No replay in these days. And

the guy's like, "Ah, home plate dump is

like, I had it foul, guys." I have the

best view of that. That ball went foul.

And you know what? They got the call

correct. So Manny rounded the bases for

nothing. That ball was left of the foul

pole. Not a home run, but he saw it and

he was like, "Yep, gone." Uh, okay,

cool. It actually looked like he didn't

think it was a home run and then he saw

the umpire call it a home run, but they

overturned it. He went on to walk in the

at bat. El Duk, he's like, "I'm not

going inside anymore. Screw that." And

then we're going to jump to the fifth

inning where Miguel Cairo is up against

Bronson Aoyo. He's going to lay down a

beautiful bunt. Oh my god. Buns for a

base hit. Oh, UCLA lets it go. Foul.

Picks it up. Says nice try, punk. Do it

again. Not going to get me. And then

we've got another strike. And we get a

foul ball. So he's down 02. So let's

bring out THE POWER SWING. BOOM. BOOM.

HE'S GOING TO send one deep and deep and

deeper to left field. Is that going to

stay fair? It does, but it's caught. And

Manny shows the ball right away. And he

says, "But you can do the fake round of

the bases. I had to do it. You can do

it." I don't know what Miguel Cairo is

doing. He didn't see Manny holding the

ball up in the air. I guess he fully

rounds the bases, celebrates. Second

player to do so in the game, then turns

around. Oh, how about Soraniano there

dapping him up even though Seraniano

knows like he saw it but he dabs him up

and Kyra's like, "Wait, what? A home

run, right?" Jeter's like, "Dude, I

don't know what to tell you." But

Manny's like, "Gotcha." That's a famous

gift, right? Boom. If you ever seen

that, this is where it comes from. And

Ky, it's a homer, right? Out.

What? Manny can't play defense.

Out. He's like, "Ah, I got that one."

Feeling good about it. And it is a

really nice play by Manny. Tracks it,

jumps, robs a home run. I mean, he's at

like the top of his jump. I wonder if he

had his foot planted in the wall to kind

of stay up there for a little bit. I

don't know what Cairo was doing cuz he's

looking to the outfield

when this happens. How does he get

himself like

hanging?

She's holding on with his right hand.

Oh, he is. Oh, there you go. So he's

grabbing the top of the cannon sign and

block with his right hand and that's how

he gets himself to kind of hang there

because he jumped before the ball got

there, but he was able to hang and reach

out and rob it. Really nice play by

Manny. How about that? Miguel Cairo saw

it and decided, yes, that's a homer. So

that's got to be a rare feat. Find me

another game where two players fully

rounded the bases thinking they hit a

home run only to find out afterwards

they did not hit a home run. And if you
